Pre K - 1st grade: Coach Rich Armintrout, Wednesday's *will have multiple assistant coaches

2nd grade - 4th grade: Coach Jeff Weber, Monday's *will have an Assistant Coach

5th grade - 8th grade: Coach Bob Runyon, Tues/Thurs

Season timeframe: January 11 - March 5th, 2021

Practice Time:

*All practices will be from 6:30-8pm

*Doors will open at 6:15pm No one (outside of Coach/Wrestlers/Volunteers for check-in and mats) in the building, Covid protocols will be followed for entering the facility and during practice for the athletes. Practice starts at 6:30pm.

Practice Location:

The Shining Stars 1 building, 1250 NE 56th Street, Pleasant Hill

Facility usage:

*Parents please encourage your Wrestler to use the restroom at home beforehand - can use restrooms at facility if need be though

*Shoes will be put on right inside the door after your Wrestler enters with mask on, gets their temperature checked and they use the Defense foam soap provided. Hand sanitizer will be available as well.

Pictures date: Monday, January 18th - Sign-up Genius link to come so everyone can social distance. (Monday practice will still be a go although there is no school that day)

I thank you on behalf of the SEP Youth Wrestling Board for all of their meetings to prep for this very time - please be patient with us as we work through any kinks as our main focus is to get our kids on the mats in a safe environment!

COVID-19 Mitigation guidelines

All individuals will be required to wear masks in the buildings to the wrestling rooms

Anyone feeling sick will not be allowed to attend practice that night. 

Temperatures will be taken at the door.

Mats will be sanitized before and after each session.

Hand sanitizer will be used when entering or exiting the wrestling rooms.

Bring your own water-water fountains will be off limits.

Same partner throughout practice.

Utilize all space available in the rooms in order to maintain as much distance as possible. 

Coaches will be required to wear masks during practice.

In the event of a positive COVID test the youth program will work to determine who was in close proximity of the individual. Will communicate with their school nurse.
